FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY

Suffolk County, New York (Northport)

A warm and private family in Suffolk County is seeking an experienced and professional nanny for a long-term position caring for their 13-month-old daughter. The family is looking for a candidate who values consistency and is interested in becoming a trusted, lasting presence in their child’s life.

Responsibilities

The nanny will be responsible for providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care, including managing daily routines such as feeding, naps, and transitions. A strong emphasis is placed on fostering early developmental milestones through engaging, age-appropriate interaction and play.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized environment for the child, handling all child-related tasks such as bottle preparation and cleaning, baby laundry, and ensuring that the nursery and shared spaces remain orderly and well cared for.

Ideal Candidate

The family is seeking a candidate with proven infant experience and strong, verifiable references. The ideal individual is warm, intuitive, and highly dependable, with a clear understanding of early childhood development. A professional demeanor, reliability, and a sincere interest in a long-term position are essential. CPR and First Aid certification are required as well as being up to date on all required vaccinations.

Compensation: $30 per hour, commensurate with experience

Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday 7am-5:30pm with the flexibility to stay later if needed.
