Short-Term Infant Nanny (Potential to Become Long-Term) Korean Speaking Preferred
Location: South Bronx, NY 10451
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Either 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $25–$30 per hour, based on experience
Start Date: September 2026
Position Type: Short-Term (September 1 – October 30, 2026) with the potential to transition into a long-term position beginning January 2027.
A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced, nurturing infant nanny to care for their sweet baby boy, who will be 5 months old at the start of the position. The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with infants, understands developmental milestones, and is committed to providing attentive, engaging, screen-free care in a calm and loving environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nanny interested in beginning with a short-term commitment while having the possibility of transitioning into a long-term role in January 2027.
About the Baby
Baby boy who will be approximately 5 months old in September
Happy, healthy infant with no known allergies
Drinks expressed breast milk by bottle, with formula supplementation if needed
Currently sleeping well with consistent daytime naps and approximately 10 hours overnight
Montessori-inspired environment with an emphasis on developmentally appropriate play
No screen time
Responsibilities
Provide attentive, loving care throughout the day
Follow the baby's feeding, nap, and daily routine
Bottle feed expressed breast milk and prepare formula when needed
Wash and sanitize baby bottles and pump parts (Momcozy bottle washer and sanitizer provided)
Engage the baby in age-appropriate developmental activities
Encourage tummy time and gross motor development
Read books, sing songs, and provide interactive play throughout the day
Take the baby on stroller walks to the park located directly outside the apartment
Maintain a clean and organized nursery and baby feeding area
Ensure the baby's safety and overall well-being at all times
Family & Home Environment
Dad works remotely from a separate room in the apartment and will not interfere with the nanny's daily responsibilities.
The home has one friendly Shiba Inu and one well-behaved cat that generally keeps to themselves.
The apartment is conveniently located just one subway stop from Manhattan, making it an easy commute.
Ideal Candidate
Professional experience caring for infants is required
Current Infant CPR certification required
Korean-speaking candidates are strongly preferred
Warm, patient, engaging, and nurturing personality
Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate activities
Comfortable following established feeding and sleep routines
Reliable, punctual, and professional
This position is ideal for an experienced infant nanny who is passionate about supporting early childhood development through nurturing care, interactive play, reading, singing, and creating a calm, loving environment during this important stage of infancy.
