The Wisteria Family
UES (88th and Park) | Live-Out | Full-Time Nanny
A warm and welcoming Upper East Side family is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Nanny / Family Assistant to care for their two children, ages 6.5 and 4.
Their current nanny has been with the family for four years and will be leaving in July due to plans to return to her home country. The family is hoping to find a long-term replacement who is engaging with children, takes initiative, communicates well, and enjoys helping a busy household run smoothly.
Both parents work full-time and are looking for someone who can confidently manage the children's schedules while also providing family assistant support during school hours.
Schedule
The family guarantees a full-time schedule of approximately 40–50 hours per week.
During the school year, the typical schedule will be:
Monday through Friday
11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
When the children are off from school, during school breaks, holidays, sick days, or portions of the summer, the schedule will typically shift to:
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, or
8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
The family is seeking a candidate who can be flexible when needed. On occasion, if one of the parents has an early morning meeting or work commitment, the nanny may be asked to begin earlier and assist with the children's morning routine and school drop-off.
The family values open communication and provides advance notice whenever possible regarding schedule adjustments.
